Housing for the Disabled
HHA’s housing is available to individuals, families and persons with disabilities who qualify for low and moderate income housing.
HHA is committed to ensuring that all of it residents, including those with disabilities, have safe, sanitary, and appropriate housing. The Authority will strive to meet the needs of its applicants and residents with disabilities and do so in the most integrated setting as possible.
Currently the HHA has accessible apartment units available at Gateway Crossing, Potomac Towers North and South and Walnut Towers. As well as the new Brooks Mid-Rise Building which has 60 fully mobility accessible units for the elderly residents 62 year of age and over.
